Email ini saya terima pada tanggal 30 April 2007. Bagi rekan-rekan yang belum terima, berikut saya postingkan isinya :
We will be releasing the AGLOCO Viewbar software soon and want to update Members on how things will work when it is released.
Each Member will get an email informing them that their Viewbar is available. It will contain detailed instructions on the download, which will be done from the agloco.com website. Members will be invited to download in groups of 50,000 a day for a two week period, with Members contacted in the order in which they signed up.
Shortly before the first set of download emails go out, you will receive an email notice that the AGLOCO website will be ‘out of service’ for a few hours – this is necessary for us to move the Viewbar download system from the test server to the main servers.
Also, please be aware of the following:
1. AGLOCO Hours: You will accrue hours in your AGLOCO Member account (current maximum is five direct hours a month). Hours are earned during active surfing on the Internet. The Viewbar has a green light on it that notifies the Member when it is accruing time. Your referrals’ surfing will accumulate hours for you at a 25% rate, meaning if one of your referrals surfs for the maximum five hours you will get 1.25 (0.25 x 5) hours credited to your total referral hours. You can only get credit referral hours up to the amount you directly surf (meaning if you surf 3 hours but a referral surfs 4, you will only get credit for the first 3 of your referral’s 4 hours). AGLOCO accrues these hours each month and also has a cumulative total of all hours earned. These hours are what AGLOCO will use to calculate cash and other distributions. The Viewbar contains a one click inactive button which turns it off and removes it from your screen at any time.
2. Initial Release for Windows: The initial Viewbar release will be for Windows Vista, XP, 2000 Pro and 2000 Server. Later, we will release Mac and Linux versions of the Viewbar. Until that occurs, Mac/Linux users can still log onto any supported Windows computer and accumulate their five hours. The Viewbar works with browsers IE 5.5 or higher and Firefox 1.5 or higher.
3. Cash Distributions: To be a sustainable entity in the long term, AGLOCO makes Member cash distributions from its positive cash flow (revenue minus costs). Therefore, please do not expect a check after the first couple of months as it will take time to collect revenue from advertisers and this revenue must exceed costs in order to make cash distributions to Members. We will be keeping Members informed of our financials and you can visit the Official company blog at http://blog.agloco.com for the latest updates.
4. Multiple Users on One Viewbar: As stated previously, multiple Members may use the same Viewbar on the same computer. Only one Viewbar download will be necessary as the Viewbar software will enable each Member to log in and log out using their AGLOCO Member ID# and password (obviously, only one Member ID# can be accumulating Viewbar hours at any one time). Please note, only one Viewbar is allowed on a screen at a time.
5. One-Time Download: The v1.0 Viewbar is purposely simplistic and minimalist, but it also comes equipped with an automatic self-updating feature. Once you download the Viewbar for the first time, your Viewbar will be seamlessly updated with new additions and features as they become available. These future features include the direct cash back feature when a Member purchases items on sponsor site and a portion of the purchase price is added back to the Member’s AGLOCO account (as described on the Official AGLOCO Blog at http://blog.agloco.com/index.php/post35/)

Dalam email tersebut ditegaskan bahwa kita masih harus sabar menunggu Viewbar Agloco untuk bisa di download. Segera anda akan mendapat email pemberitahuan beserta langkah-langkah untuk downloadnya, ketika anda mendapatkan giliran untuk download Viewbar.
Nantinya setiap Member Account maksimal jam surfingnya adalah 5 jam dalam sebulan. 25 % dari jam surfing yang dilakukan oleh referral akan menjadi milik anda. Artinya jika referral melakukan surfing 5 jam, anda mendapat 1.25 (0.25x5)jam langsung diakumulasikan dengan jam surfing yang anda lakukan. Bagamana kalau jam surfing anda lebih sedikit dari yang dilakukaan referal anda ? Akumulasi yang anda dapatkan disesuaikan dengan total jam surfing anda. Jadi ketika jam surfing anda misalnya 3 jam sementara referral anda 4 jam, maka hak yang menjadi milik anda adalah 25% dari 3 jam pertama surfing yang dilakukan oleh referral anda.
Untuk tahap awal Viewbar hanya diperuntukkan bagi pengguna Windows (Vista, XP, 2000 Pro, 2000 Server). Berikutnya akan di release untuk Macintosh/ Linux. Viewbar Agloco kompatibel dengan IE 5.5 ke atas dan Firefox 1.5 ke atas. Segera download Firefox anda agar surfing anda nantinya maksimal.

YouTube Founder Says AGLOCO Wins.DAVOS, Switzerland (AP) YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley made news at a meeting of some of the globe's most powerful people Saturday, announcing that his wildly successful site will start sharing revenue with its millions of users.
Chad Hurley just joined Bill Gates in endorsing exactly what AGLOCO wants to do give the economic value to the user.
Of course, like Bill Gates ($$$$$), Chad Hurley has already sold his company for $1.6 billion to Google so he can afford to be in a generous mood. And really how much will they share? Google shareholders are hoping not too much.
With AGLOCO THE Economic Network . No such conflict. The Members are the owners.
EVEN more important. The people building out the network NOW will be sharing in the $1.6 billion or whatever the value of AGLOCO becomes. This is a huge difference.
It is why I call AGLOCO a true Internet Revolution.
Join it, Support it, Make it grow. And it can really change the way the economics of the Internet will be in the future.
While I am on record as saying that I do not think Microsoft and AGLOCO have any formal relationship today. AGLOCO is three weeks old so I think it very unlikely as big companies (like Microsoft, Yahoo and Google) have limited time to seriously spend it on the hundreds of new community sites that start everyday. That said, Microsoft has the most to gain' with the success of AGLOCO. Microsoft's new AdCenter is announced to be looking at a serious effort on allowing real local ads (zip code or better). They currently have such a small share of the market they could easily do a deal with AGLOCO and not upset their current partners.
And Bill Gates has announced publicly that Microsoft wants to reward users for search.

Bulan April sudah tiba, seperti apa yang sudah disebutkan sebelumnya di blog Agloco, Viewbar akan ditetapkan pelepasannya pada bulan ini. Pihak Agloco akan mengirimkan satu email secara langsung kepada masing-masing anggota ketika anggota tersebut diberi hak untuk download Viewbar, dengan informasi yang lebih terperinci sebagai berikut :
Process Download: Seperti yang sudah membahas, Agloco akan merilis Viewbar pertama kepada anggotanya yang gabung terlebih dulu. Sekarang ini, rencana untuk memiliki Viewbar pertama tersedia kepada anggota dengan permulaan ID “BBBB” hingga “BBBF” (termasuk anggota dengan permulaan ID "AGLO"). Jumlahnya sekitar 50,000 anggota. Agloco kemudian akan melanjutkan merilis Viewbar itu untuk semua anggotanya sesuai dengan urutan mereka mendaftar (semua anggota akan diberitahukan lewat email ketika mereka diberi hak untuk download Viewbar).
Banyak Pengguna dalam Satu Viewbar: Seperti yang dinyatakan sebelumnya, banyak anggota boleh menggunakan Viewbar yang sama di komputer yang sama. Hanya sekali mendownload Viewbar selanjutnya masing-masing anggota dapat melakukan login dan logout menggunakan AGLOCO ID dan kata sandi mereka (Tetapi, hanya satu Member ID dapat diakumulasikan waktu penggunaan Viewbar pada satu kali waktu).
Viewbar pertama untuk Windows: Viewbar untuk rilis pertama hanya untuk Windows Vista, XP, dan 2000. Kemudian Agloco akan merilis untuk Mac OS dan Linux. Hingga saatnya, pengguna Mac/Linux dapat tetap log in pada komputer dengan sistem operasi Windows dan mengakumulasikan 5 jam. Nantinya, 5 jam tiap bulan (sekitar 10 menit tiap hari rata-rata) pada komputer yang berbasis windows dapat diatur hingga versi Mac/Linux dapat dirilis
Update: Viewbar versi 1.0 dibuat sederhana dan minimalis, tapi juga dilengkapi dengan fitur update secara otomatis. Begitu anda download Viewbar untuk pertama kali, Viewbar akan terupdate dengan penambahan dan fitur baru yang tersedia
Pendapatan dan Persetujuan Pengiklan: Sampai saat ini Agloco mempunyai persetujuan-persetujuan dengan 17 jaringan iklan. Persetujuan-persetujuan ini ditambah dengan iklan langsung yang menyediakan AGLOCO dengan ribuan pemasang iklan beserta ribuan iklan-iklan untuk perangkat lunak Viewbar. Selengkapnya >>>

Info Mengenai Pembayaran Agloco

Hi,
Ini yang menjadi pertanyaan dari beberapa orang, karena sampai saat iniAgloco belum memberitahukan secara resmi cara pembayarannya.
Waktu tahun 1999-2000, AllAdvantage (company sebelumnya) membayar dengan mengirim cheque atau Paypal.
Paypal menjadi problem karena tidak semua Negara ada Paypal.
Untuk sementara, Agloco tidak meminta detail bank account kita, tetapi saya rasa jalan yang akan ditempuh adalah dengan direct deposit seperti apayang di gunakan oleh Google.
Saya di bayar Google dengan direct deposit.
Ke dua, Agloco sekarang super hati hati karena dia tidak mau jatuh seperti di waktu lampau. Ambil contoh Koran Sydney Morning Herald. Jika kita mau pasang iklan di koran tersebut harganya mahal sekali. Lain ceritanya jika ingin pasang iklan di koran lokal. Karena apa? Karena koran Sydney Morning Herald memiliki jauh lebih banyak pembaca.
Begitu juga AGLOCO. Semakin banyak AGLOCO memiliki anggota/members, anda, saya dan orang-orang lain...maka AGLOCO akan dapat mengenakan biaya yang lebih mahal kepada perusahaan pemasang iklan.
90% dari bayaran yg diterima AGLOCO dari perusahaan iklan, akan diberikan kepada anggota AGLOCO, 10% digunakan untuk menggaji the management team AGLOCO (ada di FAQ).
Karena sekarang belum dapat diketahui BERAPA BESAR JADINYA AGLOCO INI, maka Agloco belum dapat memastikan berapa jumlah bayaran yang akan kita terima, bagaimana cara pembayarannya dll.
Targetnya, AGLOCO hendak memiliki 10 million members pada bulan Juli 2007.
Jumlah anggota yang ditargetkan ini besar!! Jika memang Agloco bisa mencapai target sebanyak itu, saya rasa dia mampu mengenakan harga yang agak mahal kepada perusahaan yg memasang iklan, dengan demikian berarti kita akan menerima pembayaran yang lebih besar juga.
Jadi, maju tidak-nya AGLOCO ini tergantung berapa banyak members/anggota-nya.
Sebab itu moto-nya adalah "WE OWN THE INTERNET, WE OWN THE COMPANY". ("KITALAH PEMILIK INTERNET, KITALAH PEMILIK PERUSAHAAN")
